Overall, 94.2% of our students study for free at our colleges. We have many courses for adults that can help you achieve your goals – including Access to Higher Education diplomas, practical work-based courses (from Entry Level to Level 3), A Level Intensives, Higher Education (Level 4 and above), and apprenticeships.
Studying at college might seem daunting if you have been out of a classroom or workshop for a while. At Capital City College Group, we will do our best to support you through your course, whatever your situation. We offer a flexible approach to learning, and the Learner Experience team is on hand to provide help – from childcare to funding and financial support – so that you can complete your qualification.
We also know that the cost of studying can be a worry for adult students, so we offer all of our Entry-level to Level 2 courses for FREE, regardless of your age or income.

Our Intensive A Level programme allows you to complete a full A Level in a year. This is ideal if you have already completed a Level 3 qualification and wish to gain further UCAS points to study at university.
For applicants aged under 19, our two-year A Level programme will normally be recommended. However, applicants aged 18 and over will be considered if they have proven achievement at an advanced level and wish to study a subject that is new to them.
We offer one of the largest ranges of Apprenticeship training across London. Apprenticeships allow individuals to earn while they learn, get new skills and knowledge whilst working, and progress within an organisation or career path.
You will gain valuable real-life workplace experience, plus additional training in soft skills relevant to your job and more industry-specific skills through our short courses.
At the end of the Apprenticeship, you will receive a certificate of completion. The Apprenticeship will give you the industry skills you need to progress in your chosen career; this could be through progression within the organisation where you have done the Apprenticeship, or you can apply for roles in your chosen field.
Access to Higher Education courses is for adults who wish to return to education to prepare for higher education. Higher Education courses are those that are Level 4 or higher, including university degrees.
Access to Higher Education courses is designed to give you the knowledge, skills, and qualifications you need to enter a university or higher education institution. Learners who have studied with us have progressed to a number of prestigious universities to complete degrees in various subjects, including Medicine at St George’s, Pharmacy at Kings College London, and Mechanical Engineering at City University, amongst many others.
During an Access to Higher Education course, you gain the relevant academic subject knowledge needed for higher education study, as well as the opportunity to develop study skills to help you to succeed. You also develop practical skills in bespoke learning spaces. You are assessed through a range of methods, including assignments, exams, presentations, observation of practical work, and practical reports.
If you’re looking to study for a university-level qualification, you can save money by studying for your degree at college and benefit from our small classes, with a personal tutor to support your learning and progression.

All learners studying a Higher Education course, regardless of the source of payment of fees, with CCCG need to sign and submit a copy of the HE Contract prior to completing enrolment. If you’re not quite sure what you’d like to study or want to retrain for a new career, we run a large range of free, part-time short courses including courses at Level 3 and Level 4, where you can get a taste of a subject because you embark on a longer course.
Our Learner Experience team is here to support, encourage and help you thrive while studying with us. They provide quality advice and guidance and can also offer learning support to help you if you need extra help with English or Maths, if you have dyslexia, or if you have a disability or a learning difficulty.
Our qualified and experienced team has been awarded the Matrix quality standard for information advice and guidance services; this is a national quality standard for the effective delivery of information, advice, and guidance on learning and work.
As part of our support services, we:
